Parish Council Buildings and Land
Clipstone Parish Council owns and manages:-
The cemetery situated off the junction of First Avenue, Forest Road and Highfield Road
The Village Hall situated on Church Road. The Village Hall contains a large main hall, meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities. It is available for hire for meetings, functions and sporting activities.
The former Squash and Sauna centre is situated on Church Road, next to the Youth Club. This building is currently leased by a private enterprise.
The playing field situated off Highfield Road.

What others do
As well as the Parish Council, there are two tiers of local government working in Clipstone – Nottinghamshire County Council and Newark & Sherwood District Council.
The County Council has responsibility for strategic, cross Nottinghamshire matters such as Education, Highways and Social Services, including the library service.

The services of all three organisations are paid for by residents through their Council Tax and by local businesses through their non-domestic rates.
What we do
Clipstone Parish Council employs parish workers to manage and maintain the land and buildings it owns. The tasks they carry out include grounds maintenance, cleaning and basic repair work.
Other services include:
Supplying 23 dog waste bins and 17 bright red general waste bins around the village and arranging and paying for the collection and disposal of the waste.
Clipstone Parish Council operates Clipstone Village Hall as a community asset. The hall is available to local community groups, service providers and for general bookings.Clipstone Parish Council manages and maintains Clipstone Cemetery.
Provision of three (blue) grit bins so salt is available for public areas in the event of snow
The Parish Council has established a Parish Office in the Village Hall on Church Road. The Parish Office is run by the Parish Clerk and normally open as follows:
Monday to Friday 09.00-12.00
